This week is new Zealand play week. So in the afternoon we had a lot of sports equiptment out like hula hoops, skipping ropes, ezy rollers and so much more. Me and my friends were mostly using the skipping ropes and ezy rollers, but my favourite part of it was the skipping ropes. Whats your favourite thing to do with your friends?
Athletics Day
Everyone was in there sporty clothes ready to do long jump. I jumped I got far but not far enough, Hanah came first third came Madeline. Next was long distance ugh it was so hard but I did it Jinjin came second Eden came third. Thirdly was high jump Madeline came second I like high jump. I can’t do all of them so lastly was the house colour relays and prefects vs teachers and parents prefects won, and for the house colour race red won but blue was close.
overall I liked High jump the best what’s your favourite activity?
This week we have started to practice for athletic’s day. There’s shot put, high jump, discus, long distance and sprints. Im good at sprints and discus. I came first in sprints three times Miss Mclaughlin is doing discus Mr Gold is doing long distance Miss Rogers is doing sprints. whats your favourite athletics activity?
KIA ORA PEOPLE
In the holidays I read a couple of books and watched some tiktok. Was going to go to lake Tekapo but the weather was bad so we just went to groynes with family. We had a bbq had macca’s and went on the kayaks. It was really fun cause all of my cousin’s were there. Where did u go in the holidays?
On Monday 18th of September all the UMS went to Willowbank including my class . We had to walk there but luckily we had a bus on the way back. I loved all the animals but my favourite was the bunny’s. On Tuesday we had top team my team was called Up Da Wahs! we won because we are the Warriours. I had Teu, Kaylee and more people. My team had 747 point’s the other teams had like 200. On Wednesday we learn’t how to skateboard with Moe and George. On Thursday we had ice skating and I didn’t fall once. On Friday we were gonna go to Englefield but it rained so it was just a normal day. What did you do for the last day of the term?
Two weeks ago Karli gave us a 60 dollar gift card because she was teaching us about food for thought. On Thursday we had a brunch the whole class helped me, Charlotte, Kaylee, Mia and Ayla made the lemonade. We also made the recipe for the lemonade. Kaylee and Mia bought the toasters for the grilled cheese. The rest of the class made grilled cheese and hashbrowns. My favourite part of it was making the lemonade.

We are learning how to do information reports. I decided to do it about electric eels because I already know a lot about it.
Kia Ora Every Wednesday we do move well with a different teacher with your whole class this week we did it with Mr gold. We played well i don’t know what its called but basically you throw a ball over the chair and if it doesn’t go over the chair. The other team gets a point but if it does go over the chairs and touches the ground on the other side. The team that threw the ball gets a point. Have you played a game like this before? if you have comment what its called.
